Rainbow roses were developed in the Netherlands and the petals are made up of pink, blue, green, yellow and other colors. How the trendy roses were developed remains a secret, but it involves a process that injects colored dye into the stem of each bloom in 4 places, resulting in different colored petals on each blossom head.
